DE

Families with children, no car needed

Family day around the Turnersee

  1. Early morning

    First swim in the lake

About ten minutes on foot to the Turnersee: swimming or stand-up paddling on mirror-smooth water, and on Mondays yoga by the lake, too.

  2. Morning

    Vogelpark Turnersee

Walk to the bird park (approx. 15 min) – feed the parrots, petting zoo and playground.

  3. Midday

    Siesta in the garden

Back at the house: lunch on the balcony, then pool, trampoline and table tennis.

  4. Afternoon

    Natura Trail Sablatnigmoor

With binoculars along the Natura Trail to the birdwatching tower – with a bit of luck you’ll spot the blue flash of a kingfisher.

  5. Evening

    Barbecue & alpenglow

Barbecue evening by the pool house while the Petzen and Obir glow in the evening light.

Next: Bike tour of the lakes

Families and leisure cyclists, approx. 25–30 km, hardly any climbing

Bike tour of the lakes

From the house past the Turnersee towards the Kleinsee – reeds, water lilies and morning calm.

  2. 10:00

    Klopeiner See

A stretch along the lakeside promenade, ice cream or coffee on the north shore, a plunge into the turquoise water on the quieter south shore.

  3. 12:00

    Gösselsdorfer See

Along quiet back roads to the Gösselsdorfer See: lunch break at the snack bar, pedalo rides, shallow warm water for the little ones.

  4. 15:00

    Back via the Sablatnigmoor

A leisurely ride back past the moor, with a stop at the Bike Break at the Turnersee with its play tower and pump track.
